Hi all! A couple weeks ago, I returned from New Zealand. It was a great trip for me. I got some great training in and had a couple good results in some very high level FIS (Federation of International Skiing) races. Some of the girls I raced against are on the World Cup circuit and have already competed in Olympic Games! It was such a cool experience to see how I stack up against the "best in the world," because someday, I would like to be among them. I scored one of my best results in GS which ranks me #1 in the U.S. for girls born in 1993.

A few days ago, I found out some other pretty exciting news. It turns out that I am invited to go to Austria and train with the U.S. D Team girls. This was completely unexpected...I was/still am shocked to be an invitee to a U.S. ski team camp! I am totally excited to be going! It is such a huge honor and I just need to ski my absolute best while I am there! I leave Oct. 9 and will be there for 2 weeks.

So far, my fall has been really good and very busy! School is great. I love all my teachers and am working hard. I am also doing a lot of dryland training- weight lifting, agility, strength, core, cardio - and ramping up for my race season!
I'll keep you posted on my trip to Austria!
