Hi all! A couple weeks ago, I returned from New Zealand. It was a great trip for me. I got some great training in and had a couple good results in some very high level FIS (Federation of International Skiing) races. Some of the girls I raced against are on the World Cup circuit and have already competed in Olympic Games! It was such a cool experience to see how I stack up against the "best in the world," because someday, I would like to be among them. I scored one of my best results in GS which ranks me #1 in the U.S. for girls born in 1993.

A few days ago, I found out some other pretty exciting news. It turns out that I am invited to go to Austria and train with the U.S. D Team girls. This was completely unexpected...I was/still am shocked to be an invitee to a U.S. ski team camp! I am totally excited to be going! It is such a huge honor and I just need to ski my absolute best while I am there! I leave Oct. 9 and will be there for 2 weeks.

So far, my fall has been really good and very busy! School is great. I love all my teachers and am working hard. I am also doing a lot of dryland training- weight lifting, agility, strength, core, cardio - and ramping up for my race season!
I'll keep you posted on my trip to Austria!

Getting Ready for New Zealand

Hi everyone! As the month of July is nearing its end, I am beginning to get ready for my trip to New Zealand! I have enjoyed my summer so much so far. I haven't been home for this long of a period in what seems like forever. I've been working out a lot, taking a chemistry class to get ahead for next year, spending time with friends and family, and just soaking up some good summer sun. After all I'll have to switch gears in less than 2 weeks where I will be in pure winter once again. I'm so's so beautiful in Wanaka, New Zealand. I will be there for a month training and racing, part of the Treble Cone Race Academy.

That's it for now, hope you all are enjoying your summer! I'll keep you posted on how New Zealand goes!

Here is a video of me training!
